After a painful breakup, the popular high schooler Momo Ayase unexpectedly comes to the aid of her socially awkward classmate, Ken Takakura, defending him from bullies. Ken misreads her act of kindness as a sign that he’s finally found a kindred spirit—someone who shares his deep fascination with aliens and UFOs. But while Ken’s head is in the stars, Momo is firmly rooted in her belief in ghosts, spirits, and the occult. She insists aliens don’t exist. Their opposing worldviews spark a quirky rivalry, each determined to prove the other wrong. Yet, through a string of surreal paranormal events and urban legends turned real, the two develop strange powers and an even stranger friendship. As they confront otherworldly threats together, their bond deepens into something far more powerful than either expected—something that just might transcend belief itself.
